Since 1994, Zone 8 Recording has been serving the audio needs of northern West Virginia with high quality music and vocal recordings. Through the years we’ve worked hard to keep the overhead low and pass the savings along to clients. Zone 8′s goal has always been to achieve the professional quality sound of a major label CD at a fraction of the cost.   In the past 16 years, we’ve had the opportunity to record every conceivable genre of music, and work with musicians of all age groups and skill levels.   Ask any of our clients and they’ll tell you, the recording atmosphere here is super-relaxed and we’ll work closely with you to get the best recordings possible. No project is too big or small.

Services offered include in-studio recording using a wide array of high quality microphones, outboard gear, guitars, amps, keyboards and drums as well as top-notch recording software.  If needed, Zone 8 can provide a wide range of musical accompaniment for vocalist and solo performers.

We also provide CD mastering and enhancement of recorded media, as well as  noise reduction and restoration of digital, tape and older recordings. Music beds for commercial and audio/visual media creation are available and we have experience with development of various types of audio clips, spoken word and recorded interviews.
